Selangor is counting on national striker Safee Sali and two imported international players to strengthen the team against Singapore in the Selangor Sultan”s Cup at Shah Alam Stadium on Oct 1.

Championship committee chairman, Datuk Abdul Karim Munisar said his side would seek the permission of the Selangor Football Association (FAS) to bring home Safee from the Pelita Jaya Club of Indonesia to boost the Red Giant.

He said, the two international players who had played in the English Premier League had also been identified, and, his side would make an announcement, after getting a written consent from them.
