The Education Ministry will ensure that the ”1Murid 1Sukan” (1M1S) policy to be introduced next year become the prime mover of unity among students.
Education deputy director-general Datuk Asariah Meor Shaharuddin said it has been proven that sports can unite people of various races in the country.
“Sports can foster friendship and teamwork as well as produce athletes of calibre up to international level,” she said when closing the National Conference on Physical Education at Sultan Mizan Teachers Training Institute here today.
