National captain Safiq Rahim is confident that his team-mates will draw their first blood when they play against Taiwan in the first leg of the World Cup qualifying match, tomorrow.
"A win in front of the home crowd is important to give us the advantage before the return leg.
"Our focus is not just on tomorrow”s match. We want to qualify for the World Cup”s final round.
"We want to emulate the success of the national Olympic squad who had qualified for the third round of the Olympics 2012,” he told Bernama at Wisma FAM, Kelana Jaya today.
