Malaysia advanced to the third round of the Asian level qualifier of the 2012 Olympics after defeating Lebanon 2-1 for an aggregate of the same in their second leg match at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil here tonight.
Mohd Irfan Fazail and Wan Zaharulnizam Wan Zakaria were the heroes for Malaysia scoring in the seventh and 40th minutes respectively.
In the first leg held at the Sports City Stadium in Beirut on Sunday, coach Ong Kim Swee”s boys had held the hosts to a goalless draw.
